Decisions You Don't Have to Make Yet
In the chaos after discovery, everything feels urgent - should I leave, should I tell everyone, should I confront him, should I forgive. Here's the truth: you do not have to decide any of it right now. Big decisions made in the middle of acute trauma are rarely your wisest ones. Giving yourself permission to pause is one of the most protective things you can do.
You're allowed to wait: The decisions will still be there when you're steadier and can think clearly. Pausing isn't avoidance - it's protecting yourself from choices made in shock that you can't take back.

Permission to pause
You can say, to yourself and others: 'I'm not deciding that yet.' That's a complete sentence and a wise one.
What I'm giving myself permission NOT to decide right now:

One small thing I CAN decide today that's fully in my control:

Clarity comes later, not in the storm: The only things that are truly urgent right now are your safety and your stability. Everything else can wait until you can think. You'll make better decisions from steadier ground - and you'll get there.
