Separating Your Worth From the Betrayal

Betrayal can leave you feeling worthless, undesirable, replaceable - as if what was done to you is somehow a measure of your value. It isn't. It's a measure of his choices, not your worth. This worksheet helps you peel your sense of self back off the betrayal, where it never belonged.

You are not less valuable because someone failed to treasure you: Someone else's inability to be faithful or honest says everything about them and nothing about your worth. Your value was never on trial here.

How the betrayal has hit my sense of self

Tick what you've come to feel.

  • [ ] Unlovable
  • [ ] Undesirable
  • [ ] Replaceable
  • [ ] Foolish, like I should have known
  • [ ] Not enough
  • [ ] Like damaged goods

The belief about myself that hurts most:

Who you are, separate from this

List what's true about you that the betrayal doesn't touch.

Things that are true about my worth and who I am, that his choices don't change:

Example — The betrayal says: I'm not enough · The truth: His choice reflects him, not my value

Example — The betrayal says: ... · The truth: ...

Your worth was never on trial: You remain whole, valuable, and worthy of honesty and love - none of that was taken by what he did. Reclaiming that truth is part of how you heal.
